I have more than 32 years of experience representing clients. My firm, the Orwin Law Office, is located in Somerset, Kentucky and I represent clients in Pulaski, Laurel, and Wayne Counties, and surrounding counties in south-central Kentucky. I Have represented clients in the local county court system as well as the Kentucky court of appeals, supreme court of Kentucky, the U.S. District Court for the Eastern/Western District of Kentucky, the Sixth Circuit Court of appeals and the U.S. Court of Claims.
Since my graduation from the University of Kentucky Law School, I have maintained the highest standards in the practice of law. My experience started with the Office of the Attorney General for the State of Kentucky as an investigator on consumer fraud cases before I attended Law School.

Outstanding Personal Service
In my three decades of practice, I’ve received some significant state and national awards. In 2002, I received a National First Amendment Award from the Society of Professional Journalists. In 1996, I was named the Volunteer of the Year by the Kentucky Nature Conservancy for donated legal services in land acquisitions in the Rockcastle River Watershed.
A year earlier than the Kentucky Nature Conservancy honor, I was nominated as Volunteer of the Year for the Kentucky Bar Association, and I have served my profession as Chair of the Kentucky Bar Association House of Delegates 2000-2001.
